Morrison Studios is the brainchild of designer Danni Morrison — a visionary with equal parts style, strategy and soul whose vision and dedication have shaped the studio’s reputation for progressive, bold and bespoke interiors. Originally launching Design by Danni in 2016 , Danni transformed a solo venture into a highly experienced collaborative team now recognised for delivering distinctive residential and commercial projects across South East Queensland.

Guided by a refined eye, practical approach, and a unique creative mind (in the best way), Danni is dedicated to creating spaces that are out-of-the-box, forward thinking and purposeful. She balances creativity with functionality, ensuring every detail reflects her clients’ individuality, yet elevated with the signature Morrison touch. She is known for championing new ideas, fostering collaboration and culture, and crafting interiors that inspire and endure. Danni’s ethos is that ‘Studio Synergy’ is the cornerstone to great design and a great business. Her genuine connection with her team, trades, suppliers, and clients are the reason why Morrison wheels turn so smooothly. All delivered with a dash of sarcasm and a good laugh (usually at herself).

Studio Manager | The Real Boss
Sarah (or Hendo) is the heartbeat of Morrison Studios and the CEO of ‘Doing the Most’. She’s Danni’s right hand and together the Yin and Yang duo divide and conquer the work. With six years of management experience, she’s got both the business brains and the creative flair to keep the studio humming and the creative chaos under control. While Danni leads the creative side, Sarah’s the behind-the-scenes magician making sure every project, deadline, and budget stays on track— and yes, she does with a smile, snacks and a spreadsheet. When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her beachside, with a cocktail. But when her alter-ego Sabrina comes out to play? Expect karaoke, dancing on tables, and fun in epic proportions.

Interior + Building Designer | The Cool Thinker
Leah brings over seven years of experience in both building and interior design, and it shows. She has a knack for turning residential spaces into something truly special and her vision is always intentional, detailed and beautiful. Leah is the architect of ambience both in her craft and in her nature, and is a die hard design devotee. She lives for the moment when clients see their vision come to life. With a soft spot for rich chocolate tones and timeless textures, her signature style fits right in with the Morrison vibe. When she’s not deep in design mode, you’ll find her soaking up the sun with a good book and her trusty sidekick, Barkley the Frenchie, never too far from her toes.

The Textile Technician
We call Emily the fabric queen - and all for good reason. Her eye for texture, tone, and pattern could rival any mood board across South East QLD, delivering a true sense of bespoke design, everytime. With 4 years of experience across residential and commercial design, her laid-back vibe is perfectly balanced by her sharp wit and legendary one liners. But it’s her ability to somehow always source the latest and greatest in all facets of interior design that sets her apart. Originally from Bendigo, Emily now lives her best coastal life with her builder husband and two little ones — part-time designer, part-time chaos coordinator, full-time textile whisperer.

With 5 years of experience in commercial design, Telia is equal parts precision and creative whirlwind. Her foundation in commercial design sharpened her business smarts and technical chops (she can spatial plan like a boss), but it was her love for interiors that lit the spark. Telia’s approach to design is strategic, insightful, and unwaveringly client-focused — yet in the studio, her infectious enthusiasm and energy would put Olympic marathon runners to shame. When she’s not dreaming up new spaces, she’s soaking up the sun — margarita in hand, Kindle open, and Mars Pods close by, definitely not for sharing.

Studio Co-ordinator | The Chief of Checklists
Sarah (or Stevo) is our spreadsheet master and the person who checks over previously checked checklists. Her attention to detail is second to none and in all honesty, makes us feel inadequate. But not on purpose. Described by Leah as ‘pure’, no truer statement has been made. For anything admin related, task orientated, or simply when our creative chaos needs colour coding, Sarah always has our back. Perhaps it’s because she has three kids and understands time management better than a clock. We’re not exactly sure. Stevo’s natural environment is a coastal camping ground discovering new things with her husband and kiddlets.

Studio Co-ordinator | The Serial Giver
Our resident “here, have mine” and Morrison’s biggest cheerleader, Sarah (or Holliday) is a walking, talking good vibe dispenser. With a previous life as a care worker and hair dresser, she is a multi skilled dreamboat. As head of procurement, you’ll find her juggling spreadsheets, cracking jokes and hyping up the design team, sometimes for no real reason. Basically, if anything needs to be ordered, tracked, checked or delivered, Holliday has it covered. And some. When Sarah’s not buying stuff for Morrison, you’ll find her on the move. Anywhere really, but mainly the beach, or talking to a kangaroo.
